Market Maker Surveillance Report. BAC, GE, S, MSFT, SEAOF, FMCKJ, Bullishly Biased Price Friction For Tuesday, March 19th 2013

Mar 20, 2013 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 3961 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2118 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3315 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bullish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices rose. BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION (NYSE:BAC), General Electric Co (NYSE:GE), Sprint Nextel Corp (NYSE:S), MICROSOFT CORPORATION (NASDAQ:MSFT), SeaCo Ltd (OTC:SEAOF), Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp (OTC:FMCKJ). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction BAC $0.150 1.19% 79,994,437 33.18% 84,527,591 35.06% -4,533,154 Abnormal GE $0.070 0.29% 8,943,942 25.15% 12,896,790 36.27% -3,952,848 Abnormal S $0.160 2.73% 28,490,575 30.00% 32,032,587 33.73% -3,542,012 Abnormal MSFT $0.080 0.27% 23,079,366 44.67% 28,528,548 55.22% -5,449,182 Abnormal SEAOF $0.018 31.58% 16,482,514 37.98% 26,911,672 62.02% -10,429,158 Abnormal FMCKJ $0.140 4.81% 3,372,340 18.95% 11,871,506 66.72% -8,499,166 Abnormal Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more selling than buying on Tuesday and their stock prices rose. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows BAC with 4,533,154 greater shares of selling than buying (NetVol) and the stock price was up $0.15000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more selling than buying should cause prices to drop.
