BRIEF: Greensboro man charged in thefts of musical instruments, camera
GREENSBORO, Mar 14, 2013 (News & Record - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
The investigation into several car burglaries this weekend focused on a Greensboro man after he pawned stolen camera lenses.
Anthony Vincent Clerico Jr. is accused of stealing items including a Nikon camera, three camera lenses and a flash, a car stereo, two saxophones, a clarinet, an oboe, a flute and a laptop from cars Saturday, investigators said.
Clerico, 30, sold some of the items, including two of the camera lenses at USA Pawn Shop, 3006 High Point Road, police said. He sold a saxophone at Music Go Round, 3719 High Point Road, said police, who arrested Clerico today.
He faces 16 charges, including felony breaking and entering, obtaining property under false pretenses, felony conspiracy, possession of stolen property and larceny after breaking and entering.
His bond is $100,000.
