National Security Agency Utilizes BAE Systems

Mar 11, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- BAE Systems has been awarded a multi-year $127 million contract to provide infrastructure and software development support to the National Security Agency's (NSA) High Performance Computing Infrastructure Group.

According to a release, BAE Systems experts will provide architecture, installation and administration for a complex networking environment that supports multiple network enclaves and high-speed datacenter access. In addition, BAE Systems will provide 24/7 server and desktop customer support to more than three thousand end-users. The contract consolidates the work of three previous NSA contracts under one.

BAE Systems' Intelligence & Security manages big data, informs big decisions, and supports big missions. BAE Systems delivers a range of services including IT, cybersecurity and intelligence analysis to enable the U.S. military and government to recognize, manage and defeat threats.
