Intel May Build Innovation Center in Southwest China

Mar 08, 2013 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Intel Global Vice President and China Region President Ian Yang yesterday released new strategy, innovation technology and philosophy as well as marketing plans of the company for 2013, saying that Intel may set up an innovation center in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, southwest China next year.

Intel has been outperforming in China in 2012 when the global IT market is withering. Global operating revenue reached USD 53.3 billion. This year, more smart phones and tablet computers based on Intel platform will be launched worldwide, with more innovation in human computer interaction, perceptual and cloud computing.
