Silex Technology announces availability of SX-ND4050G network display adapter

Mar 08, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Silex Technology America, Inc., a provider of wired and wireless networking solutions, has announced the availability of the SX-ND4050G Network Display Adapter, or NetDA.

The NetDA allows wireless or wired network connectivity to interactive display systems from USB-equipped devices, such as a personal computer, for a collaborative meeting experience. Users can view, modify and store the interactive display system's digital content on their computers with full high definition (FHD) video quality and fast data transfer speeds enabled by using wired Gigabit Ethernet or wireless IEEE 802.11n networking standards.

"The Silex NetDA is a welcome addition to our Strategic Technology Alliance Resource (STAR) product offering, enabling Sharp AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems to be wirelessly connected with dual-board collaboration," said Gary Bailer, director of Product Planning and Marketing for Sharp's Pro AV Products.

The NetDA supports transmission rates of up to 300 Mbps. Based on Silex USB Virtual Link Technology, various input devices such as touch panels or USB devices can be remotely controlled from across the network by USB-enabled computing devices. It supports Full HD resolution. This Silex utility software allows users to search for NetDA devices, connect and disconnect with monitors and touch input, and to query the connection status.
