Broadview Networks, a provider of hosted voice, data and cloud computing solutions, won two Info Security Products Guide Awards from the ninth annual Global Excellence Awards banquet dinner in San Francisco.
According to a release, these global awards are the telecommunications industry's information security research and advisory guide. They recognize those security and IT vendors that have introduced products and solutions that help meet the evolving needs of the security technology arena.
Broadview was honored with a Gold Award in the category for Security Products for Small Businesses for its Cloud Backup and Recovery Solution which provides secure data protection for businesses of any size via the Internet. Unlike enterprise-grade systems that are costly to build and operate, Broadview's solution automatically backs up desktop, laptop and server data. Broadview's Cloud Backup and Recovery Solution addresses the complexity of explosive data growth while solving regulatory compliance, disaster recovery and protection for small businesses.
Broadview also received a Bronze Award in the Compliance category for its Archiving, Compliance and eDiscovery services, which capture all e-mail communications and replicate the information in a tamperproof Message Archive. Broadview utilizes a dual encryption system for point-to-point security and complete data integrity. This service helps businesses comply with increasingly strict financial, healthcare and government security regulations and also includes tools for full audit trail reports and legal eDiscovery.
"We are proud to have been recognized by Info Security Products Guide as a trusted leader in security and compliance," said Jeff Blackey, Broadview's Senior Vice President of Marketing. "Broadview's focus on innovation for SMBs is what allows us to protect and effectively serve more than 100,000 business people across the U.S., as well as provide them with the tools they need to ensure total business continuity--helping them cut costs and risk, all while boosting flexibility and security."
