Pinpoint Network Solutions to Present at COMPTEL PLUS Spring 2013 Convention & EXPO

Pinpoint Network Solutions (PPNS), the primary provider of telecom

today announced that Dave Plym, Wholesale Carrier Account Executive,
will be speaking at the COMPTEL PLUS Spring 2013 Convention & EXPO,
March 10-13 at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
From 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, Plym will
participate in the panel discussion "The Transformers: How Small
ILECs Grow their Business with CLEC Strategies." The panel will
address the issue of falling revenue streams for ILECs due to the
implementation of the universal service and intercarrier compensation
reforms by providing insight and advice for implementing new products
and strategies to retain customers and increase revenue.
Plym will be presenting on IPTV, having seen firsthand the success it
has had with PPNS' sister company Cambridge Telephone. He will
explain the route Cambridge Telephone Company took in implementing
IPTV, the role PPNS had in delivering this service, and will give
sound, practical advice on how other ILECs can use IPTV to retain
customers and boost revenues. Plym also will share his expertise in
sales, by explaining proven marketing and sales strategies that can
increase your take rate.
Dave Plym is a 25-year veteran in the telecommunications and
information services industry. As a wholesale account executive at
PPNS, he works with local, regional and national carriers on high
capacity Ethernet and IP delivery solutions. Plym is accomplished in
wide area network design and communications technologies in
microwave, satellite and terrestrial services. As a proponent of IT
education and its impact in the business world and in our daily
lives, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Omaha, Neb.,
chapter of Association for Information Technologies Professionals,
which has a mission of promoting the IT profession and awards
scholarships to young people attending college in the IT discipline.
Plym is a United States Army veteran and earned a Bachelors of
Science degree in Systems and Network Architecture from Bellevue
University.
