Elie Habib, Former Nokia SVP, Joins CradlePoint's Board of Directors

Boise, Idaho, Mar 04, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- CradlePoint, the global leader in 3G/4G wireless networking solutions for distributed enterprises, today announced the appointment of Elie Habib to its Board of Directors.

"Elie's leadership and his extensive experience in the networking and telecommunications industries will help guide CradlePoint as we grow the business and develop new solutions for our target markets." Habib, who formerly sat on CradlePoint's board (2009-2011), has held leadership positions at networking and telecommunications companies including Nokia and Ramp Networks. At Nokia, he was senior vice president and general manager of the Security and Mobile Connectivity business unit for Nokia Enterprise Solutions. He also served as vice president of the Global Product organization for Nokia Internet Communications (NIC). More recently Habib was president and CEO of Vusion, an Internet-based HD video company. Prior to joining Nokia, Habib served in various leadership roles including vice president of engineering at Ramp Networks, vice president of engineering at Bay Networks, and multiple management and engineering positions at Sun Microsystems.
