Qihoo 360 Awarded Contract with the Ministry of Commerce

Feb 28, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Qihoo 360 Technology Co., an Internet company in China, announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide enterprise Internet security solutions to the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.

According to a release, the Ministry of Commerce will install 360 Enterprise, Qihoo 360's flagship enterprise Internet security product, on all computers in its headquarters in Beijing to enhance their anti-virus and anti-malware capabilities, and to strengthen overall information security protection at the Ministry of Commerce.

"We are very excited to work with the Ministry of Commerce," said Hongyi Zhou, Chairman and CEO of Qihoo 360. "This award clearly demonstrates the quality and reliability of our enterprise Internet security products and speaks to the significant trust customers have in the Qihoo 360 brand. Since its launch, 360 Enterprise has attracted hundred of thousands of enterprise customers and has been installed on millions of terminals, including a successful deployment to support Xinhua News Agency's coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London." 360 Enterprise is a free Internet security solution for enterprise customers. The product offers anti-virus/malware, traffic monitoring, resource management, performance enhancement, application distribution, and other functions, with a user friendly interface.
