Mojiva Posts Year-Over-Year Results in Tablet Advertising

Feb 28, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Mojiva, a mobile ad network that reaches more monthly mobile devices than any other network, announced the rapid growth in tablet advertising requests on the industry's only tablet-dedicated ad network, Mojiva Tab.

According to a release, the findings show that the total number of tablet ad requests reached over 31 billion for the entire year in 2012 a nearly 600 percent increase from the previous year. Additional data can be downloaded from Mojiva's Research Portal.

"What we are witnessing here is a remarkable by-product of the massive and dramatic way in which the human race is choosing to absorb and share information, and be entertained," said David Gwozdz, CEO, Mojiva Inc. "The growth is staggering to the point that tablet sales forecasts are being rewritten as soon as they are published. Media plans are also being retooled just as fast as brands try to engage with the consumer who is now deeply and personally tied to these very productive mobile devices." A number of brand advertisers have already signed deals with Mojiva Tab to reach their target audiences with highly scalable and engaging tablet executions. These include HP, Microsoft, CBS Interactive and ABC News. "Mojiva offers a dynamic tablet ad unit to target the mobile IT manager with an innovative user interface, which will deliver our content in a new way," said Natalie Jeter, Americas Server Marketing, HP.

"As leading brands, content publishers and developers continue to see a majority of web and application traffic coming from tablets, they can no longer afford to ignore tablets as an important advertising channel," said Frost & Sullivan analyst, Vikrant Gandhi. "The larger screen real estate and exceptional display properties make the devices particularly suitable for innovative and interactive rich media advertising clearly the future of digital advertising."
