Ericsson opens new Global Service Center office in Quer�taro, Mexico

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Ericsson's Global Service Center Mexico is one of Ericsson's four Global Service Centers in the world.

Ericsson's main objective is to foster scale efficiencies in order to provide lower costs on their services with more efficient support.

Today, the Global Service Center Mexico has more than 2,000 employees to support the whole Ericsson group and they have high expectations on terms of growth for the coming years.

Ericsson will open an extension of GSC in Quertaro at "Empresalia", the biggest Corporate Campus of the state, this Center will help to develop the human resources at the entity and also will backup the activities at GSC MX.

The total investment on the first year will be of 13 million dollars, with this a new 8,000 m2 building will be opened, and this will represent new Planning, Design, Implementation and Support Services delivered to our America and Europe customers.

Quertaro will also have a Global Network Operation Center (GNOC) operating at its facilities, with the latest technology for remote monitoring and administration of telephone network operations and Ericsson global customers.

During the development of this project, Ericsson have always had the entire support of the Federal Government through the Secretary of Economics and ProMxico, and its consolidation is a high value investment for Mexico because is managed by a global leader telecommunications company that provide services for network operators.
