Duncan/Channon Appoints Digital and Design Specialist Michael Lemme as First New Partner in 13 Years, Adds Digital and Social Specialist Andrea Bozeman as Creative Director
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Feb 26, 2013 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --
Integrated advertising agency Duncan/Channon announced today it has
named 16-year industry veteran Michael Lemme as its fourth partner.
Lemme will continue to lead the agency's UX and design practices and
contribute to its strategic practice, and he will join the other
partners in providing strategic guidance for the agency, with a focus
on creative as Chief Creative Officer.
Duncan/Channon also announced that digital and social specialist
Andrea Bozeman, formerly associate creative director at AKQA, will
join the agency as Creative Director.
"Lemme has been an outstanding creative and strategic leader at
Duncan/Channon for the last eight years, and we're thrilled to
announce his partnership," said partner and CEO Andy Berkenfield.
"He's been instrumental in putting digital at the forefront of how
this agency creates and this agency at the forefront of digital. He
also brings extraordinary design and strategic skills. Throw in the
cool beard -- he's a quadruple threat."
Lemme has led rebranding efforts at Duncan/Channon for Esurance,
Tahoe South and Hard Rock International, for which the agency won top
honors from the international REBRAND 100 Awards. He also conceived
and designed the agency's widely honored digital work for Hard Rock
and for Blurb. Prior to joining Duncan/Channon, Lemme was creative
director at the San Francisco design firm Method, where he led
efforts for SFMOMA, Autodesk, Reuters and American Apparel.
In addition to the REBRAND 100 award, his third (the first was for
Autodesk in 2006), he has been recognized in Communication Arts' 2012
Advertising Annual for his work on Blurb and CA's Interactive Annual
for his Hard Rock work. He was also a One Show Interactive finalist
for Hard Rock and a One Show Interactive winner for SFMOMA's "Making
Sense of Modern Art" interface. And his musings have been featured on
Communications Arts' "Insights" blog.
Said Lemme: "Duncan/Channon is an exceptional place. I'd say why but
you wouldn't believe me. And I love the work we do -- helping brands
re-discover, redefine and relaunch themselves. I couldn't be more
honored by this partnership. And I couldn't be more excited that a
strategic and creative thinker as brilliant as Andrea has joined our
team. She's a force."
At AKQA, Andrea Bozeman developed digital and other non-traditional
work for such iconic brands as Gap, Target and Xbox. Prior to AQKA,
Bozeman worked at several agencies in the US and EU creating digital,
social, mobile and traditional campaigns for McDonald's, Visa, Old
Navy, Microsoft, Levi's, Mattel and others.
