Former Microsoft and Boeing Tech Veteran Joins Pixorial as VP of Business Development
ENGLEWOOD, CO, Feb 20, 2013 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --
Pixorial, the video service that lets you transform shared
experiences into personal stories, today announced the new hire of
Jim St. Marie as Vice President of Business Development.
St. Marie brings a diverse background to Pixorial, with deep
experience at Microsoft and Boeing -- where he developed,
coordinated, and executed capture team plans with large systems
integrators to win numerous multi-million dollar contracts. In
addition, St. Marie helped launch several startups including ONYX
Software, NetIQ Corporation, and Four Winds Interactive, LLC. At
NetIQ, he played an integral part in helping it grow from a startup
to a mature +1,000 person public company. St. Marie helped grow the
company to over $165M in annual revenue.
In his role at Pixorial, St. Marie will be responsible for the
oversight and execution of Pixorial's business development strategy,
which includes strategic partnerships that will help grow Pixorial's
business.
"Jim brings experience, energy and a unique perspective to our
business that will help Pixorial push forward and align with
strategic partners. We are thrilled to have him as part of the team,"
says CEO Andres Espineira. "After an extensive search, Jim's
background and leadership in sales made him the ideal candidate for
the job. His ability to develop mutually beneficial partner
relationships will ensure Pixorial's business moves in the right
direction for years to come."
St. Marie's most recent achievements include setting a company record
in the fourth quarter of 2011 for the most units of Roxio Creator
shipped in a single quarter and leading Corel's OEM efforts in 2012
with Lenovo, Dell, and Samsung to include new Windows 8 applications
in their respective app stores.
"As a user and long-time admirer of Pixorial, I'm ecstatic to be a
part of the team. From the leadership to its vision, Pixorial
understands the future of video," St. Marie stated. "Many companies
have attempted to do what Pixorial has already achieved in such a
short period of time and it energizes me when I think about what we
have planned for 2013 and beyond."
St. Marie will work from the company's Colorado headquarters.
