Intelligent Computer Solutions Announces Release of their New Generation of ImageMASSter Solo-4 Product Line, Supporting SATA-3, 6Gbit/sec Drives

The ImageMASSter Solo-4 SATA-3 New Generation Product Line supports capturing and cloning data from SATA-3 hard drives at speeds up to 6Gbit/sec (37GB/min). The current ImageMASSter Solo-4 first Generation Product Line, using high speed SATA-2 SSD drives has produced transfer rates exceeding 12GB/min. Today, drive manufacturers are increasingly developing and producing drives with lower power consumption and faster access times in order to increase transfer rates. The ICS team responded to the challenges and needs to support SATA-3 Drive Technology to prepare the IT and Forensic Industry for current and future advanced drive technologies. ICS announced today that they will be ready to ship the new IMSolo-4 Generation Product Line beginning March 1, 2013.
