Save the Tribes of Texel from Robotic Invaders in DeNA's 8-Bit Mobile Adventure Game D.O.T. Defender of Texel
SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--
D.O.T. Defender of Texel (D.O.T.), an 8-bit fantasy adventure
mobile role-playing game from DeNA Co., Ltd. (TSE: 2432), is now
available for free download on Android (News - Alert) and iOS devices worldwide via
DeNA's Mobage™ social games platform.
In D.O.T., the player is transported to a world that knows no
concept of death or war and is under attack from robotic invaders. Thrust
into the role ofa defending hero, the player must save the
tribes of Texel and open the portal back to reality. In this action- and
combat-packed game, players journey through stages, duel enemies, gain
rewards, and upgrade gear and characters.
"With D.O.T., we applied everything we learned from our
experience developing Blood Brothers and Ninja Royale and
infused the game with new game mechanics and a special art design style. D.O.T.
features unique 8-bit retro graphics and provides an immersive gaming
experience that includes questing, boss fights, player-versus-player
matches, elite team building, and character evolution," said Kenji
Kobayashi, executive games director at DeNA. "This game hits the sweet
spot between retro visuals and unexpected delights, and we're pleased to
offer consumers a new kind of high-fantasy mobile adventure game."
