TP-LINK, a provider of networking products, announced its new 300Mbps AV200 and AV500 Wireless N Powerline Extenders, the TL-WPA2220 and TL-WPA4220 respectively.
According to a release, the latest in TP-LINK's Powerline device portfolio, these devices will allow users to expand their wireless and Powerline networks for network connectivity around a home or office with wired Powerline and 802.11n wireless speeds.
The TL-WPA2220 and TL-WPA4220 extend a network connection to every room within a home's electrical circuitry. Devices in the room have two options to access the network through the Wi-Fi PLCs, either wirelessly or using an Ethernet cable, making wired and wireless network expansions easier than ever. Features include:
-Use several TL-WPA2220/TL-WPA4220s to establish several wireless networks using the same network information providing seamless home or office-wide roaming coverage
-HomePlug AV standard providing up to 500/300Mbps high speed data transmission over a home's existing electrical wiring, ideal for lag-free HD or 3D video streaming and online gaming
-Extend 300Mbps Wireless connections to previously hard-to-reach areas of your home and office
-Mains Filter for better powerline communication performance
-Up to 300-meter range over the household power circuit
