Storeplacer Launches Commerce Application Development Platform

Jan 09, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Storeplacer unveiled a next-generation commerce application development platform that makes it easy for developers to build sites and apps that consume product content and transactions.

In a release the Company said that Storeplacer is currently available in a limited beta for developers, agencies and retailers.

Storeplacer will be attending the NRF's Big Show in New York Jan. 13-16 providing private demonstrations. The team will also be in the San Francisco Bay Area through Jan. 9.

Storeplacer's cloud-based solution provides a rich user interface, automated, on-demand scalability, a content delivery network, big data infrastructure and suite of RESTful APIs.

"Merchants are being forced to react faster to changing preferences while continuing to produce amazing commerce experiences. Consumers desire to shop anywhere from any device whenever they want and expect a consistent, omni-channel experience," said CEO Jason Lobel. "Cisco reports over 12.5 billion internet-connected devices exist and forecasts over 50 billion will exist by 2020. The infrastructure powering commerce must transform to keep up with scale and agility required for this environment. APIs, open platforms and data-driven experiences that facilitate sophisticated applications will drive the future of commerce. Until now, the barrier for enabling commerce across many touchpoints seamlessly was high." ((Comments on this story may be sent to newsdesk@closeupmedia.com))
