The CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) Will Present an Industrial Ethernet Seminar in Dayton, Ohio on Feb. 13th
VERNON HILLS, Ill. --(Business Wire)--
The CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) announces it will host a free
seminar about CC-Link IE, the first gigabit speed
Industrial Ethernet network for automation control, at the Dayton
Marriot, 1414 S. Patterson Boulevard, on February 13 from 9 a.m. until
noon.
"Industrial Ethernet implementation is a hot topic in the automation
industry," said Charles Lukasik, Director of CLPA-Americas. "Automation
system users need to understand these technologies and their options for
network implementation. This seminar is an excellent way to learn about
CC-Link IE technology."
CC-Link IE is inherently deterministic and does not require the use of
Ethernet switches, which means easier and lower cost implementation.
Network installation and implementation is also extremely simple. In
addition, this seminar also describes how the original CC-Link fieldbus
network can integrate with a CC-Link IE network.
The seminar is intended for manufacturers as well as system integrators
who are involved with automation networking issues. Ater lunch,
presenters will discuss topics intended for automation equipment
manufacturers who need to understand how to implement CC-Link IE
technology into their products so that these products can be part of a
complete Ethernet-based automation solution.
CLPA manages CC-Link and CC-Link IE open network technology. It is a
global organization with more than 1,740 members. CLPA conducts
conformance testing, promotes the CC-Link/CC-Link IE compatible products
of its members, and provides technical support to members during their
product development process. There are CLPA offices in the USA, Europe,
Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and India.
This half-day seminar is free of charge. Lunch will be provided. For
