Dell (DELL) Crosses Pivot Point Resistance at $10.28

Jan 02, 2013 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) has opened bullishly above the pivot of $10.09 today and has reached the first level of resistance at $10.28. Investors may be interested in a cross of the next upside pivot targets of $10.42 and $10.75.

Dell share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $18.36 and a 52-week low of $8.69 and are now trading 21% above that low price at $10.48 per share. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone down 1.1% while the 50-day MA has advanced 0.4%.

Dell has overhead space with shares priced $10.48, or 10.2% below the average consensus analyst price target of $11.67. The stock should hit resistance at its 200-day moving average (MA) of $12.19, as well as support at its 50-day MA of $9.81.
