Fitch Ratings expects to rate SLM Student Loan Trust 2012-8, student loan-backed notes as follows:

--$1,484,500 floating rate class A notes, 'AAAsf (EXP)'; Outlook Negative;

--$42,500,000 floating rate class B notes, 'A+sf (EXP)'; Outlook Stable.
