EQECAT Announces New Catastrophe Risk Consulting Offerings
OAKLAND, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Leading catastrophe modeling firm EQECAT and its consulting services
group have announced new catastrophe risk consulting services for the
re/insurance, financial, and corporate markets.
New portfolio risk analysis offerings include U.S. Flood Portfolio
Analysis and Mortgage Impairment Risk Analysis. EQECAT's consulting
services group provides flood
risk analysis for the United States at the site and portfolio levels
based upon the latest flood modeling methodologies. Mortgage
Impairment Risk Analysis provides residential mortgage lenders and
investors in mortgaged assets with insight into the probability of
mortgage default based on the occurrence of natural catastrophe losses.
In addition, EQECAT has added consulting services to allow clients to
maximize the value of their catastrophe modeling investment. These
consulting services include Model Blending, Integration Services, and
Turn-key Solutions. Model Blending combines different views of risk for

models) or combines different modeled views of risk from independent
perils. Integration
Services support the integration of the RQE™ (Risk Quantification &
Engineering) catastrophe
modeling platform within a client's business environment. Lastly,
Turn-key Solutions enable licensees to fully utilize EQECAT models and
platforms immediately upon installation or upgrade.
