Garden City, NY, Nov 08, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- The NAPW Salem, OR Local Chapter held its inaugural professional networking meeting on October 24th. The Salem, OR Local Chapter President Artemiza Hernandez welcomed members and guests as they gathered for dinner at the Keizer Applebee's, 2625 Liberty NE, in Salem to network and discuss plans and goals for the Chapter.

Artemiza distributed NAPW Pins to all new Salem Chapter members and offered NAPW Notepads as welcome gifts. She briefly spoke about the Salem, OR Chapter meeting agenda, upcoming opportunities, and the events and resources published on the NAPW website.

"To kick off the inaugural Chapter meeting, I invited members and guests to introduce themselves and exchange business cards," said Artemiza. The Chapter President then led a number of lively discussions on a variety of topics concerning the Chapter's future plans and goals.
