Linley Tech to Host Processor Conference

The sixth Annual Linley Tech Processor Conference is a two-day conference, Oct. 10-11, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in San Jose, Calif.
In a release, the Company noted that Andy Bechtolsheim, inventor and current chairman of Arista Networks, will deliver a keynote on Oct. 11.
"Software-defined networking, the rearchitecting of systems to support security and other services at 100Gbps and faster, and the evolution of cloud computing is disrupting the design of processors for communications, as well as the associated memory and software technologies. We see the enterprise and cloud markets driving some of the most significant changes and innovations in processor design," said Joseph Byrne, Linley Group senior analyst and conference chairperson.
"As the leading analyst firm focused on semiconductors for embedded processing, communications, mobile and wireless, we understand the need for a deeper understanding of the market and technology changes taking place, and are committed to providing not only the most updated technical information, but also direct access to the industry leaders initiating these changes. Attendees will have an opportunity to visit vendor exhibits and network during the cocktail reception on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m.
