Nov 03, 2011 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Batelco has announced the launch of Multi-Protocol Label Switching Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network or MPLS IP VPN, Interconnectivity with Malaysia-based telecommunication company Telekom Malaysia or TM, which aims to further enable both parties to extend corporate VPN solutions between their respective regions.

This agreement will provide end-to-end MPLS VPN services to businesses that wish to establish secured inter-office connectivity between locations. The agreement, which will benefit both organisations, was signed by Batelco Enterprise Division General Manager Adel Daylami and Telekom Malaysia Executive Vice President Mohamad Rozaimy Abdul Rahman, on behalf of their respective companies.

Mr. Abdul Rahman in support of the newly-signed business partnership further commented, "TM is honored to collaborate in this Network-to-Network Interface (NNI) partnership with BTC which will strengthen our global service offerings especially on Global IPVPN and Ethernet services." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
