Crocodoc Launches Embeddable HTML5 Document ViewerFeb 21, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Crocodoc said it is announcing the immediate availability of the world's first embeddable HTML5 document viewer, which can display high-fidelity documents online without the need for Flash or 3rd party plugins. Combined with the company's current collaboration services, the company noted, the new HTML5 document viewer brings Crocodoc one step closer to fulfilling its vision of letting anyone view any document on any device. Yammer, an enterprise social networking tool, is one of the flagship companies integrating Crocodoc technology into its service. Doing so will allow them to introduce a full-fledged document collaboration platform where employees can discuss and review documents within the Yammer application.
