Baidu to offer flash game platformBEIJING, Jan 18, 2011 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- Baidu.Com Inc. (BIDU) is likely to approach investors with a flash game platform in near future, reported www.bjnews.com.cn citing insiders on early Tuesday. After a RMB100 million package launched to attract web game developers in October, 2010, the platform is the most notable action concerning online games with the Chinese language search engine. Currently, only several professional Chinese game operators such as Shanda Interactive (SNDA.NASDAQ) boasts flash game platforms. The report said that the platform may be quoted on tieba.baidu.com, the largest online Chinese-language community which has millions of users so far.
