BroadLogic Names Broadband Cable Veteran Richard Peske as Vice President of Marketing


SAN JOSE, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

BroadLogic Network Technologies Inc., a leading supplier of mixed-signal semiconductor solutionsĀ for global digital cable TV markets, today announced that Richard Peske has joined the team as vice president of marketing. He is responsible for global product management/marketing, applications engineering and marketing communications. Peske brings strategic management, product and corporate marketing expertise to BroadLogic. He has devoted more than 15 years to the Digital TV industry, and 10 years to telecommunications engineering and product management, serving in both public and private firms.

Prior to BroadLogic, Peske was vice president of marketing and strategy at BigBand Networks (News - Alert), serving global cable and telecommunications customers, and helping BigBand progress from the early start-up stage to its position as an industry leader in digital video networking. Previously, he held key marketing and engineering roles at DiviCom, home of the first commercial MPEG-2 encoder for digital TV. Earlier, he served as product manager at Silicon Graphics, a pioneer in interactive TV. He began his career at Bell Labs (News - Alert), the telecommunications research and development arm of AT&T and Lucent Technologies.
