During Content & Communications World 2010, Fujitsu will also preview its next-generation, high-performance compression technology that utilizes a newly developed ASIC processor, optimized to meet the growing demand for H.264 (AVC) 10 bit 4:2:2 encoding. The new solution is designed to support all formats, including 1080P and "stereoscopic" 3D television content. It will be integrated into the Fujitsu IP-9600, a scalable encoder/decoder processor and networking platform scheduled for release in mid-2011. The enhanced feature of 4:4:4 encoding will also be added to the IP-9600 product roadmap for future release.
