Gateway launches ID Series notebooks in Canada

Jul 30, 2010 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Consumer PC company Gateway today announced the launch if its new Gateway ID Series notebook PC line in Canada.

The range consists of the Gateway ID49, ID59 and ID79 notebooks.

Selected models in the Gateway ID49 Series 14" display notebooks feature NVIDIA Optimus graphics technology to regulate the notebooks dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics or integrated Intel graphics.

The Gateway ID59 has a 15.6" HD Ultrabright LED-backlit display, while the Gateway ID79 has a 17.3" display.

All feature integrated 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi Certified for a connection to hotspots and wireless networks and an integrated 1.3MP webcam with two integrated digital microphones for improved sound recording via the webcam.

The Gateway ID Series is available now in a variety of configurations.

The Gateway ID49 starts at an MSRP of CAD609.99, with the Gateway ID59 starting at an MSRP of CAD699.99 and Gateway ID79 at an MSRP of CAD1049.99.
