(NYSE: F) for the first time has the highest initial quality among all non-luxury brands in J.D. Power and Associates’ 2010 Initial Quality Study (IQS). The Ford brand moved to fifth place among all brands from eighth last year. This is the highest rank position Ford has achieved in the IQS since ranking 23rd in 2004.



Dell Inc. (NasdaqGS: DELL) reported working closely with OnLive Inc., a pioneer of on-demand instant play video games, to power its game service, which launches today. Dell Data Solutions has been helping OnLive for several years to custom-design servers tailored for the OnLive platform, enabling the company to quickly expand with the growth of its customer base.

The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) reported total sales, including fuel, increased 8.7% to $24.8 billion in the first quarter of fiscal 2010 compared with $22.8 billion for the same period last year. Excluding fuel sales, total sales increased 3.1% in the first quarter, which ended May 22, 2010, over the same period last year. Identical supermarket sales, without fuel, increased 2.4% in the first quarter over the same period last year.


Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NasdaqGS: ATVI) introduces the latest installment in the “Call of Duty” franchise (this year’s game is subtitled “Black Ops”). Activisions products comprise Guitar Hero, X-Men Origins, PROTOTYPE, Transformers, Ice Age, Wolfenstein, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, DJ Hero, Band Hero, Call of Duty, Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, Three map packs for Call of Duty, True Crime, Spider-Man, Bakugan, Blur, and Singularity.

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) reported that it has approved a plan to buy back up to 11 percent of the company’s shares, stating ” its board has authorization to spend $2 billion on the repurchase of common stock.” Northrop Grumman Corporation bought 8.3 million of its shares during the first quarter when the company reported net income of $469 million, or $1.53 per share. Revenue increased 9 percent to $8.61 billion.

Crown Equity Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: CRWE.OB) has experienced an unprecedented surge in growth and expansion adding it’s many subsidiaries while also ramping up production in their IT department adding additional full time staff enabling them to extend their reach globally. Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE: TM) reported resuming construction of its Mississippi plant, which will soon hire 2,000 team members and build the Corolla compact sedan beginning in the fall of 2011.

Hasbro Inc. (NYSE: HAS) - In the first quarter, Hasbro’s international revenue rose 17 percent to $221.7 million. Overseas sales represented about one-third of the company’s total quarterly revenue. Mattel’s international sales rose 12 percent in its latest first quarter. In afternoon trading, Hasbro shares rose 13 cents to $42.81.

BP plc (NYSE: BP) - “I’m not stonewalling,” Hayward told a House investigations subcommittee, responding to repeated suggestions that he was dodging questions. Hayward said he was “deeply sorry” for the spill gushing now for more than eight weeks. “I understand the seriousness of the situation, the frustrations and fears that continue to be voiced.
