AT&T and Kirsen Technologies sign international mobility contract


May 25, 2010 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- US communications holding company AT&T (NYSE:T) announced on Monday that Kirsen Technologies, a provider of cargo container security and monitoring, has signed a contract for wireless telemetry and international data services.



Under the contract, financial details of which were not disclosed, Kirsen Technologies, will use AT&T's wireless telemetry and international data services solution and its own Container Monitoring System (CMS), to provide even better and more secure tracking of international cargo shipments for its clients.

AT&T said that this new solution gives Kirsen Technologies' customers and potential customers the security and assurance of knowing the location and general status of their cargo, including Intrusion alarms and monitoring of Temperature, Humidity, Impact among others.


The new contract reportedly expands and enhances a relationship between AT&T and Kirsen Technologies that spans nearly ten years.
