The Planet Enhances Its Partner Plus Reseller ProgramFeb 18, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- The Planet, a provider of IT hosting, announced additional features for its Partner Plus Program for resellers. Extending its leadership position as a Web hosting platform, the company said it now offers registered reseller partners volume discounts up to 20 percent, depending on their monthly order value. Additionally, the company has created new server bundles optimized for resellers, including key software and upgrade options, at reduced prices. Registered resellers who bill up to $2,500 per month receive 10 percent discounts on new orders, while those who bill more than $2,500 and up to $5,000 receive 20 percent discounts. Resellers who bill more than $5,000 are eligible for special bids. The company has also assembled bundles specifically designed to meet the needs of Web hosting resellers. Bundles are built on Dell servers loaded with either the Intel Xeon 3450 or the Dual Xeon 5520. Included on each server are RAID, cPanel control panels, KVM-over-IP, and 5TB of bandwidth, along with increased RAM and hard drive capacity. Bundles are offered at up to 38 percent off list pricing, with additional discounts provided for registered resellers.
