Task Systems Achieves ISO - 9001 - 2000

Jan 04, 2010 (Daily Champion/All Africa Global Media via COMTEX) -- Leading value-added integrated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions company, Task Systems Limited, has achieved much elevated International Standard Organisation (ISO-9001:2000).

Managing Director, Task Systems, Mr. Stanley Okpaleke, who made this disclosure in Lagos noted that the ISO 9001:2000 is recognized globally as the comprehensive international standard of quality.

"This ISO certification further confirms our company's strict adherence to a systematic, world-standard approach to quality management and service delivery," he declared.

Recalling that Task Systems which was founded in 1987, pioneered desktop publishing and computer graphics in the country with Apple Computers.

He also pointed out that in 1996, Task Systems Ltd re-branded as a foremost ICT solution services company by entering a strategic partnerships with major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) like Hewlett Packard (HP), International Business Machines (IBM), American Power Conversion (APC) and software giant Microsoft to name a few.

With these partnerships, Okpaleke said that Task has maintained unrivalled leadership in ICT solutions service delivery to the Nigerian oil sector where it maintained major procurement and service contracts for over a decade in addition to the financial and manufacturing sectors.

"With offices in Lagos, Warri, Port Harcourt and Abuja, Task has strong competencies in IT consultancy, PC and Enterprise Server integration and deployment, help desk, high power solutions, storage networks and integrated project management," he said.

He further highlighted the fact that in 2008 alone, Task won six prestigious awards from Hewlett Packard (HP) re-confirming Task's position as the leader in the IT solutions sector in Nigeria.

As said by him, Task Systems has consistently remained the market leader by providing her customers tailor-made products and services, excellent after-sales support to meet their needs.
