My-Channels' Releases Nirvana Middleware for Android Platform
LONDON --(Business Wire)--
My-Channels, provider of the unified enterprise, web and mobile middleware Nirvana, today announced full support for Google's Android (News - Alert) platform in their latest release of Nirvana Enterprise Server.
Nirvana for Android further extends Nirvana Enterprise's proven robust features, which ensure secure, low-latency and high-performance exchange of data between web, mobile and enterprise clients. These features now allow Android devices to publish and subscribe to events in real-time, utilize message queues, and transparently communicate with peer to peer services.
"Android support is a natural development in our strategy to enable enterprises to easily and reliably deliver real-time data to a range of mobile devices, as well as to web and enterprise clients", said Paul Brant, CEO my-Channels. "This enhancement further extends Nirvana's mobile reach to Android, iPhone (News - Alert), BlackBerry and J2ME devices."
