Paragon Software Group introduces Backup & Recovery 10 Suite

Nov 19, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Data security and data management solutions provider Paragon Software Group (PSG) announced on Thursday the launch of its Backup & Recovery 10 Suite, a comprehensive backup software.

Paragon said the solution combines functionality and flexibility of its Drive Backup Professional product line with the new 'set and forget' policy found in its System Backup. The product offers recovery environments in Windows Native Mode, WinPE, Linux and DOS. It also provides virtualisation support and includes support for Windows 7.

The product includes the following components: Drive Backup Professional, which offers complete disk backup and restore functionality; System Backup, based on simplicity and minimal user participation; Virtualization Manager, which helps users migrate their system and data to a virtual environment; and Multi-platform Recovery Environment, which allows the user to recover their system and data from multi-platform bootable recovery media based on Linux/DOS or WinPE 2.0.
