Verizon and HTC Announce November 6 Launch of Droid Eris (VZ,GOOG)

Nov 05, 2009 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- 11/5/2009 - Verizon (NYSE:VZ) and HTC said Thursday that they will launch the HTC Droid Eris on November 6. The phone features Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android OS, and will cost $99.99 with contract after a $100 mail-in-rebate. The phone features a 3.2 inch touchscreen with trackball interface, full HTML browser with Flash Lite capabilities, a 5 megapixel camera, and 8GB of storage expandable to 16GB.
