Ping Identity Sponsors 9th Internet Identity Workshop
DENVER --(Business Wire)--
Ping Identity®, the leader in Internet Identity Security, announced today it will join industry thought leaders converging at the 9th Internet Identity Workshop (IIW), Nov. 3-5, 2009, in Mountain View, California.
Founded in the fall of 2005, IIW is a working group of Identity Commons. The event focuses on "user-centric identity" and trying to solve the technical challenge of how people can manage their identities across the range of Web sites, services, companies and organizations that they belong to, purchase from and participate with.
"With the rapid evolution of advances and expectations around Internet Identity, IIW is the only event of its kind to bring together a broad knowledge base of technologists who share a passion for finding ways to allow users to effectively manage their own identities," said Ping Identity CTO Patrick Harding. "We look forward to participating in innovative dialogue and sponsoring this invaluable workshop."
Unlike traditional workshops, at IIW, there are no formal presentations, no keynotes and no panels. Workshop attendees build the schedule, face to face, the first day of the conference. The 9th Internet Identity Workshop is Nov. 3-5, 2009, at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
