BRIEF: Expert Dynamics acquired by Mentor Graphics for $2.5m: Expert Dynamics develops software for simulation of printed circuit boards.Oct 15, 2009 (Globes - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- In its second acquisition of an Israeli company in a week, Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq: MENT), has signed an memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the acquisition of Israeli start-up Expert Dynamics Ltd. for $2.5 million and up to $10 million in future royalties. Incubator Maayan Ventures Ltd. (TASE:MAYN) owns 27.9 percent of Expert Dynamics, which develops software for simulation of printed circuit boards (PCB). Earlier this week, Mentor Graphics acquired Valor Computerized Systems Ltd. (XETRA: VCR) for $81 million. According to IVC Online, Expert Dynamics has raised $1.4 million from Maayan, Start-Up Factory, and private investors since it was founded by CEO Rami Varon and VP Liliya Varon in 2003.
