Intel results point to signs of recovery


Jul 15, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The results of US computer chip maker, Intel Corporation, indicate that the computer industry may be beginning to recover. Intel has posted a loss of $US398 million ($A505.98 million) for the second quarter of 2009. Excluding charges related to a fine, reported net income was $US1 billion.
