ProfitBase, GoIWx to bring Hosted SaaS BI solution to North American businesses

Jul 03, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- ProfitBase, a provider of data warehouse, business analytics, budgeting and planning software solutions, and GoIWx, a provider of IT hosting services, have formed a partnership to bring Hosted Software as a Service Business Intelligence solution to businesses in North America.

Hosted in the cloud, the business intelligence (BI) solution extracts and consolidates transactional data from a company's existing business systems and delivers performance metrics to decision makers through the ProfitBase InFront Analytics dashboard in a browser product, Microsoft SharePoint, PerformancePoint Excel, or their preferred front-end tool, according to ProfitBase.

ProfitBase has said that the Hosted Software as a Service Business Intelligence (Hosted SaaS BI) solution is configured and deployed using ProfitBase 2009, a data warehouse and online analytical processing cube deployment accelerator for Microsoft SQL Server. ProfitBase 2009 includes ready-to-use business templates consisting of business logic, key performance indicators and dimensions for finance, sales, inventory, purchasing, accounts receivable, human resources, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and others.
