Clearwire hiring 100

Clearwire Communications LLC will host a job fair in tandem with TEAM Santa Rosa to promote opportunities in technical support.
The job fair will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Clearwire's Milton location at 5520 Industrial Boulevard. Qualified applicants will have an opportunity to speak with Clearwire representatives on site. Potential candidates should provide resumes and are required to have a high school diploma and experience in technical support.
Clear wire employs more than 300 people in Milton and 2,000 employees nationwide. It anticipates adding 100 jobs.
"We've recruited some great talent in Santa Rosa and look forward adding additional tech support professionals to our team," wrote Clearwire's Milton Site Manager Eric Petrosevich in a press release. Some jobs could pay as much as $12 an hour, company spokeswoman Jennifer Morgan said.
TEAM Santa Rosa helped bring Clearwire to Santa Rosa County in 2007. Its strategic investors include Intel Capital, Comcast, Sprint, Google, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks. Clearwire provides 4G service, using WiMAX technology, in three markets and provides pre-WiMAX communications services in 50 markets across the U.S. and Europe.
