Nov 14, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) --
Jacobs Engineering Group has won a three-year $41m contract from the Marine Corps Information Systems and Infrastructure Product Group to provide services including financial management and planning, program management, and technical and programmatic representation in forums related to the delivery of IT services.
Craig Martin, president and chief executive at Jacobs, said: "This contract provides an excellent opportunity to build upon our longstanding relationship with the Marine Corps. Services we provide under this contract will help to sustain and enhance mission-critical, worldwide access to enterprise information technologies for the Marines."
Earlier this month, the US Marine Corps awarded a five-year $119m contract to federal IT services provider Stanley for technical, operational, maintenance, and management services for its Secret Internet Protocol Routed Network. It also awarded a $29m contract to CACI International for IT infrastructure services.
