QualityLogic Announces Next-Generation Automated Test Tools for Imaging System Developers

TESTJOB BUILDER:
TestJob Builder lets users search and select specific test files, based on
search-term attributes, from QualityLogic's indexed test-suite databases.
User-defined fields allow customization for unique requirements, such as
associating defect numbers or code segments to certain test cases for
regression testing.
TestJob Builder lets a user search for specific PDL-type commands within a
file, or choose from higher-level imaging functions. Once test files are
selected, TestJob Builder provides file thumbnails for visual check by the
user. The whole process is much faster than a manual search and requires
less user expertise. In addition, TestJob Builder locates every file that
matches the specified criteria. This 100% match is virtually impossible
with a manual search.
Printer manufacturers and imaging-controller developers can use TestJob
Builder to:

constraints
-- create custom test suites that match regression test-code
modifications and enhancements
-- quickly locate test files that duplicate a reported defect, and
improve the efficiency of regression testing
-- isolate elements in a test file that cause a defect in output

TESTJOB SENDER:
TestJob Sender manages test-file processing and synchronizes with TestJob
Builder to automate the test-file flow process. TestJob Sender provides
additional test-operation options that simplify and enhance the testing
process. A user can schedule print jobs, measure test-time performance,
and power-cycle the target device so that jobs are printed on a clean,
initialized platform.
