PlanMagic Unveils Media Planner 7.0
(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
PlanMagic said that its Media Planner 7.0 can create a comprehensive
media plan consisting of all aspects needed to plan detailed
advertising, promotion and public relations activities up to 5 years.
The software includes a fully automated media planner workbook to add
objectives, define target markets, modify labels, as well as define
ads, events or campaigns in detail. Wizards are used to simplify and
speed up data entry. The ads are grouped by objective, market, and
categories such as advertising, promotion, PR, or Internet. This
enables detailed tracking of the results per objective, market or
category.
The Media Calendar is the control panel where you plan on a 3-year
timeline. Enter your ads, promotions, events, PR, and campaigns
throughout the 3 years while the automated budget control ensures that
you stay within each objective's budget. The company said that ads,
events or campaigns are controlled via the media calendar which makes
it simple to place ad placements and other events on a 3-year timeline.
According to PlanMagic, detailed summaries make it easy to have a
complete overview of ads, events or campaigns, and their expenses. The
results of the media plan can be analyzed by entering available actual
results in the advertising, Internet, promotion, or public relations
worksheets. This enables the program to calculate GRPs, CPM, CPR,
reach, frequency, lead rates, variations, resulting sales, and several
other important factors.
Additional features include a print module that allows the user to
quickly print any selection of predefined print areas in one go, an
export module to export multiple worksheets to a values only workbook
for sharing, automatic calculations based on averages or increase
percentages for consecutive years, and a smart dashboard that even
saves the main charts as images.
PlanMagic Media Planner 7.0 includes the following: a guide, a
pre-written media plan template in a word processor format (MS Word), a
fully automated media planner in MS Excel, and a template for overhead
presentations or media briefs.
