Digicel First to Offer Pre-Paid Roaming In the Caribbean

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Digicel, the fastest growing Caribbean-based mobile phone provider, is the first to offer a prepaid roaming service to Digicel customers across its Caribbean network.
The new service became active across the Caribbean on Sunday, August 22nd offering roaming service at competitive rates for Digicel's pre-paid customers in Jamaica, Aruba, Barbados, Grenada, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Digicel has also announced that pre-paid roaming for calls made to the UK will be available in the near future, with other countries to be added over time. Digicel currently has agreements with more than 200 roaming partners in more than 100 countries, twice as many as its nearest competitor.
