Today, a day known by lovers around the world Valentine’s Day, Confio Software has revealed that Kansas-based Fort Hays State University (FHSU) has recently implemented its Ignite for DB2 unified performance management software solution. This solution will allow FHSU to closely analyze database performance in real-time, allowing staff to spend their time focused on business -related tasks while remaining continuously in the know about any database issues.

Ignite's infrastructure will closely analyze database performance without any additional software requirements.

According to a press release, unlike other software, Ignite doesn't simply display metrics; instead it applies wait-time analysis to correlate the most important performance data to build a detailed picture of the database performance for the DBA, Developer and DBA manager.

Also, this unified performance management solution will compile real-time session data, server resource levels and query information to allow organizations to dramatically increase their visibility into vital operations.
