Unified Performance Management Provider Watch4Net Signs Reseller Agreement with NetBoss Technologies

By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

Watch4net, a provider of service assurance software as well as APG, a carrier-class performance unified management solution, has just inked a reseller agreement with  NetBoss Technologies, Inc., a supplier of network management software and service assurance solutions. This collaborative effort will seamlessly integrate the Watch4Net solution directly into the NetBoss XT platform. With this combined solution, NetBoss customers will be able to simply leverage Watch4net’s unified performance and SLA management solution for next generation multi-service networks.

“By pre-integrating our next generation NetBoss software suite with Watch4net’s flagship APG product, it ensures we can quickly deliver an automated service-level management solution that provides our customers with the latest tools to effectively manage the performance, quality, and costs of their overall business.” said NetBoss Technologies CEO, Jim Odom in a statement.

According to a press release, Watch4net’s APG Software Suite can help closely analyze key network performance indicators that will then send the data collected right to the NetBoss XT service assurance platform through an easy-to-use interface. Due to this platform, service providers can now reach business objectives through quantifying the impact of fault, performance, and service level deviations from their defined goals, the release revealed.

In regards to the just signed agreement with NetBoss Technologies, Nicolas Souty, Watch4net CTO added, “The partnership with NetBoss Technologies enables us to offer an integrated solution which provides consistent delivery of business services, quick detection, and troubleshooting of problems and full visibility of infrastructure and health for our customers.”

In related industry news, Watch4net announced back in August that First Data Hellas, a provider of electronic payment services in Greece has chosen to integrate Watch4net’s APG Solution to monitor the availability of its business applications.

Seamlessly integrated with EMC’s (News - Alert) Ionix infrastructure management platform, the APG platform will offer customers highly important availability information in regards to First Data Hellas´s business applications.
