Celcite Demos intelligent OSS Network Management Platform at Mobile World Congress
Celcite Management Solutions, a provider of wireless network monitoring solutions, has showcased its next generation COPS network management platform at the Mobile World Congress (News - Alert). The solution combines an innovative automation platform and expert managed services to deliver a unified, enterprise grade intelligent OSS (iOSS) platform that simplifies network management and maximize network potential.
With automation and centralized SON capabilities, COPS can monitor, manage, and mitigate network capacity and quality problems in an autonomous closed loop mode. Thus it fulfills operators’ demands for maximizing network potential. The in-built dynamic and autonomous closed loop actions of COPS-SON enable self-configuration, self-optimization, and self-healing of networks with no human interaction.
Company officials say COPS-SON has proven to deliver more than 15 percent improvement in capacity utilization and greater than 20 percent improvement in dropped call rate. By delivering a smart, dynamic coverage and capacity management solutions to mobile network operators, COPS helps them squeeze more out of their current networks and maximize network potential.

The network management platform supports ANR (Automatic Neighbor Re-ordering), LB (Load Balancing), SH (Self Healing), APO (Automatic Parameter Optimization) and Plug-and-Play module for self configuration when a new site is deployed.
COPS consists of COPS-AIC, automated network management platform that supports multi-vendor, multi-technology wireless networks; and COPS-GEO, probeless solution that harvests mobile measurement reports from the network to geocode every call event. The AIC automatically collects a variety of data types from the network and automatically correlates all data points to provide triage between RF and operational issues, root cause analysis, audits, recommendations, and executable solutions along with mml or xml scripts. .
COPS-GEO provides geographical context to data traffic, hotspots, interference, coverage gaps, overall location-estimated network behavior, and accurate monitoring of customers’ voice and data experiences.
