Centerity Provides Complete Clarity for SMB and Enterprise Customers
Founded in 2006 with clients in nearly every market, Centerity (News - Alert) Systems Inc. provides all-in-one enterprise class information systems and IT infrastructure monitoring solutions. Today, Centerity is a developer of next-generation, enterprise-class and carrier-class monitoring solutions for critical information systems and IT infrastructure.
While changing the rules of monitoring, Centerity enables IT organizations to simplify network management and enhance business performance. Its product Centerity Monitor provides accurate measurements, root cause analysis, real- time statistics, live network maps graphs and more. The Centerity Monitor End-User Experience and Business Service Management allow for high level presentation of business processes and the delivery of quality services to end-users. Centerity Monitor has served organizations from SMB to global enterprise from all districts, delivering an easy to use all-in-one monitoring system.
In fact, Centerity was recently named Enterprise Management Associates' (EMA) top Value Leader in its Enterprise Network Management Systems (ENMS) Radar Report for 2012 in the Medium Deployments category. The study indicated that Centerity Monitor is delivering significant results for a range of international organizations. Of particular note was the solution's broad data capture features, allowing it to be applied end-to-end for covering complex IT infrastructures - an essential component within Centerity's objective of enabling next-gen Business Service Management (BSM) for integrated, IT availability and performance monitoring.
Marty Pejko (News - Alert), COO of Centerity, sad, "This recognition from EMA demonstrates industry-wide acceptance and validation of Centerity's ability to deliver a broad, flexible and highly cost-effective enterprise monitoring solution providing organizations with the greatest utility and functionality within a rapidly-deployable, all-in-one platform.”
Pejko sat down with TMCnet to discuss how Centerity solves a huge challenge. There are a lot of tools doing various things, but they are all doing these tasks in isolation, so you can’t see the problem clearly. Fortunately, Centerity can capture all of the pieces and show you a single pane of glass – giving you complete clarity. “When we say end to end, we really mean end to end, we capture everything, nothing escapes,” he explained.
Whether you have IT local or managed or the cloud, you can use the same system with Centerity. It does not provide a monitoring solution on the level of the infrastructure, but instead it provides a solution based on the business to ensure the business is up and running smoothly.
“Before you deliver, you have to monitor,” said Pejko. “There are three layers – application, networking, and physical. We capture all the information in these layers and then simulate what a real user would do over and over again.”
The company likes to call itmself “the next generation BSM tool” because ultimately, Centerity is providing BSM at a highly effective cost. Other systems have been so complex and virtually impossible to manage all of the pieces.
In fact, Centerity has the tools surrounding BSM that you need in a single package at a single price. Detailed information about the environment is part of the management process and the monitoring process because you want to see how each element impacts the overall service. With Centerity, you can find the process, find how the elements relate to each other, and then address it immediately.
“You have to be able to monitor holistically and give a unified view with complete visibility – we can do that,” said Pejko.
“For MSPs and cloud vendors, it is very critical to know if something is wrong. Our system is flexible enough to provide limited views with much more manipulation – taking the information and making it of more value,” Roi Keren (News - Alert), Centerity CEO told TMCnet.
Today, if you are a CIO or a manager, you want to be able to eliminate the ‘finger pointing’ and get the problem solved. The end user experience isn’t typically offered by providers like Centerity. It is useful to see how the system is performing and what is normal and abnormal. With Centerity, you can see things from the end-user experience that you can’t see anywhere else.
