EarthLink and XCast Labs Complete 100 Mbps NNI Connections in Los Angeles and Chicago

By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

EarthLink, along with its strategic partner XCast (News - Alert) Labs, announced the completion of 100 Mbps Network-to-Network Interface (NNI) connections in Los Angeles and Chicago.

EarthLink claimed that its seamless Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network is ideal for distributed enterprise and it transcends individual technologies to help increase overall company productivity and improve business efficiencies. Clients that utilize the company’s secure network would be able to run business-critical applications to gain better visibility across their organizations, improve operational efficiency, help build customer loyalty, and adapt more quickly.

The redundant NNI connections will greatly enhance seamless delivery of XCast’s voice service and customers’ data networking services over EarthLink’s nationwide MPLS network.

XCast Labs asserted that these NNI connections are the culmination of months of cooperative effort from both EarthLink and XCast personnel, and it is proud of the successful outcome. It looks forward to the continued success its strategic partnership provides. The company claimed that it offers an exceptionally robust suite of Video and Voice-over-the-Internet (VVoIP) products and services-virtually every VoIP solution currently available in the marketplace. Its proprietary platform and patented RTP technology ensure the highest quality at the lowest cost.

Together, EarthLink and XCast have installed dozens of dedicated Voice over MPLS networks around the country and clients are already realizing the benefits. XCast and EarthLink claim that they provide the very best in support, consultation and innovation. The collaboration has a team of professionals with which every IT manager or management team would want to work.

Officials with EarthLink commented that they are excited about the evolution of their partnership with XCast. These network improvements further enrich what has already been a mutually rewarding relationship.
